I really ducken hate this company. A manager just cause removes me from a position I was doing fine for about 4 yrs with no problems. Along comes a new hire and he asap replaces me then boots me to the curb and gives me 8-16 hrs a week from a full time sudden deduction. I call the union and they only get me 30 hrs of that back then side with the manager. I start filing ethics reports against him left and right and that got him fired in the long run. Despite the fact I can work on select days the scheduler keeps cloning the schedule from 2 years ago and they can't get it in their heads that that the short term restrictions ended over two damn years ago. I'm peeved that they asked 3 guys if they wanted an extra shift in my department for hours that should of been rightfully mine to begin with. Before defaulting to me as a last resort and no other choice. I threatened the company with an eeoc claim over this. Bias gender discrimination coupled with male preferential scheduling and treatment. I thank the big wigs for setting straight what the manager did wrong to me but at the same time I'm really peeved they even allowed this to happen. Not only were my rights violated they were discriminated against as well. I am warning this company if they pull one more stunt like this or deny me a could of been position even for a role change, I'm finding new employment asap. Then filing an eeoc claim if they pull this stunt again. Not only was this a blatant disregard for my working rights this was straight up gender discrimination. I'm already on a short fuse with this company and if something this major happens again kroger do expect an eeoc claim. I am not joking or making this up.
