All of a sudden the company I work for decided to randomly crack down on the break room fridge. Everything labeled with receipt and so forth. They even snoop open lunch boxes to look at brought from home lunches. I hate to say it but it is illegal to open up someone's backpack for search and seizure without probable cause a lunch box should fall into that category. They started this about six months ago. While it is nice to finally have a clean fridge you can't even put your lunch in it because there's a high probability it won't be there at lunch time even if you label and put receipt on it. If this goes on longer should I report it to ethics? I had to start putting a bike lock on my lunch box because corporate kept snooping in our lunch boxes tossing things that didn't have receipts also includes food clearly made at home put in tupperwares. Even I think that one went to far.
