If a manager gets snarky at me about something, I'm allowed to be snarky right back, correct? A manager wanted something done but it wasn't possible under the current procedures. If I reply back and explain why it wasn't possible but could be possible under a different procedure would it be appropr...

I've never had to replace the receipt paper in my register before and I'm a new hire. The other day, my trainer left on their break so the manager on floor duty had to come and help me with it. He entered in a code on the register afterwards and he said I have to put that in everytime after changing the paper. D...

Could someone please tell me about a energy transfer letter? What does it say and how can I request one? I am part time and signed a bid for a full time position at a different Kroger location. I've been working for Kroger for 5 years now and want to become full time. I was denied because another employe...

Well I was not terminated but this has been a strange affair. I was called into the conference room at my store and an assistant manager with a loss prevention person said that I had been eating cookies that were left on one of the bakery tables. Now, our rule on "sample cookies" has been very lax, basical...

Did they change it? I bet it plays the same music repeats over and over. The only thing that changed it the name of the network. All stations pretty much are repeats. They play the biggest hits and classic stations play what was big hits. Nothing changed but the name. I don't know why Kroger pays for a se...

Has anyone else got sick of listening to that announcement every 10 minutes yet? I know it is meant to be helpful (or to impress that customers on how CARING and up-to-date Kroger is), but I am just about at my wits end. And the constant reminders (like this is a kindergarden class) to WASH YOUR HANDS...

How do you go about taking a leave of absence for my last semester of school. I kind of want to quit, but just in case I can't get something else I'd like to have this as something to fall back on if I don't have a job lined up by the end of the semester.

So at my store the code of ethics goes right out of the window. Here we have multiple members of management that feels that it is okay to not only talk down to employees, but to also do it in front of other employees. Yet we are supposed to adhere to respect and integrity. The worst part is that this was told...

QFC head quarters is right next to bellsquare mall and it got looted tonight (5/31/2020) and they are right next to it. Maybe they'll be more serious about it now. Lol. The elephant is in the room and they can't ignore it.

I'm been consuming watermellon/chocolate chip (from Kroger) milk shakes for the past 48 hours. It's delicious. Can't stop. Thinking about starting a milk shake stand at outdoor festivals. What guarantee can I get if any, that Kroger will always sell watermellon/chocolate chip ice cream? T...
