I'm a courtesy clerk on FE and I've had a couple of closing shifts where I had to clock out a few minutes past midnight. My schedule the following week would be shortened to a few days. I can understand working a short shift because of this. But would the shortened week be due to clocking out after midnight...

Is it normal in Kroger Land for District Managers and other Corporate level people to socialize outside work with store comanagers? Just seems wrong to be hanging out with people under your direct supervision (Virginia). Does this happen in other areas?

Store 535 (North Richland Hills, Texas) is getting a Cincinnati walk. Skeleton crews from area stores are getting raided to doll up for the dog-and-pony show. It's over 800 air miles from Cincinnati, so, what's the likely motivation? Good? Bad? Indifferent?
