I work for Giant Food in the northeast. I am the only full timer left on night crew. The night lead makes 4 bucks less than me, has no benefits and is part time. Turnover is near 100%. I'm just wondering what working fir a union shop is like. .

Just like to say your welcome. Thanks to pristine customers such as myself my big spending contributed to your tiny paychecks this holiday year!! Think of all the people you know who have came and left, how many of them leave and come back or tell you they truly regret leaving? We have a few who come back, but at the end of the day it is a minimum wage job and one that's demanding. What percentage of people do you think regret leaving? I'd put it at 20%...

I asked today to see the schedule. I was told they will no longer be posted in the store You have to look online. Is this the whole company? Someone said its to save on paper. I am going to buy a pack of paper out of sarcasm and put it on the managers desk with a note. Here is some paper now print the schedule.
