at every register there is a soda with a paper attached to it that reads , "If the cashier does not ask you about (name of the organization accepting the donations) this soda is yours for free) , when cashiers are asking about donations. Curious if it happens to be like this at every store .. ?

At my store we're given around 12 hours a week. Once in a while we get 20+ hours. Around Thanksgiving/Christmas we were given more hours (I know it's because of the holidays). Long story short I hurt my knee pretty bad the other day while playing football. I can barely stand on it let alone work product/put up a truck. I can't exactly afford to go to a doctor just for a doctor's note... I just need to stay off t for amother day or so... how do I go about explaining that?
