Does kroger allow bereavement leave in the event of a direct family member loss? I read a few contracts ago that we were allowed up to one month off (three weeks). Is that still true or did it get removed in the recent contract?

Back Pay

I called our union rep one day to see if I could get any back pay due to my hours being shortened over the last month. They told me the only way was to bump someone lower in seniority than me during that period so I could have my hours. So I don't get back pay but at least I have my hours back. Win one, lose one.
