They keep scheduling me early lunches. Why? I NEVER take an early lunch. I work a 9am-6pm or a 10am-7pm so why schedule me to go 3-3½ hours after I start? It's stupid. I am not hungry and ready to eat at that time. So I change it and go 4 hours after I start. What is the purpose of going after 3 hours to lunch?

I am still at my job I left Kroger for 14 years ago and it is my full time career. I am wondering if Kroger would hire me back once a month part time so I can get grocery discounts. I want to work 5 hours once a month. Really I could care less about Kroger but just wondering if they would do this. That's why I want t...

Dear corporate if you're going to cut hrs do it right and still give enough hrs for employees to do their job duties. If you're going to reduce hrs on load day from 8 to 6 then you get unfinished work and customers complain where product is. You should reduce hrs on back stock days not load days! We're only g...

The program started with a few trial stores about 3 yrs ago and has been slowly rippling through the company. I highly suggest to get out of the front end sooner than later if your store goes to this. Why? imagine running 6 sco machines all day long without pulling out your hairs, while fighting to get eno...

So this company is trying to promote the whole "Zero Hunger | Zero Waste" thing while throwing out tons of uneaten bakery/deli goods per day. Make this make sense.

When we loan pens to you we expect them back. When you write checks don't keep the pen. This is why we never loan our personal pens. It has been well known for a couple decades that if you want to write a check you need to bring your own damn pen!

I'm a courtesy clerk who does the opening shifts. On the weekdays there is also a cashier who has the opening shifts. And for some reason this cashier has gotten the uppity notion that I'm their personal assistant and not an employee of this company. Some of the highlights of their uppity attitude are:...

I'm glad kroger went back to the traditional paycheck format as the ones they changed to after they my time roll out sucked. Many staff complained about not being able to read it clearly. If you sat down and actually read line for line you could figure it out. They finally gave up and went back to the old fo...

I know someone keeps posting comments about turds. That's ok with me. The question I have is if you get pissed and quit Kroger, how do you get to the restroom and effectively crap one out, catch it before it splashes in the bowl, and then proceed to the employee break room, and put one in for 10 minutes an...

Summer hrs really low for employees. No wonder they can't keep staff long term. You offer them a job then you screw them over with < 30 hrs a week.

Have you looked at your payslip this week? It's changed. I worked 30 minutes over one day and only got paid straight time for it. The contract says 15 minutes over will be paid at straight time. Thirty minutes over and beyond is overtime. The 30 minutes I worked over was on one day. Besides, I work 40 hours...
