Title says it all. I'm getting tired of people chewing me out over sh-it we have zero control over. It's a two year old tactic to throw a tantrum over something when you can't get your way.

In years past, we've always started making King cakes the Friday leading into Mardi Gras weekend. This is how our sales ran in 2020. Friday: sold 3. Saturday: sold 8. Sunday: sold 14. Monday: sold 60. Tuesday: sold 40. As you can see, sales really don't pick up until one or two days before Mardi Gras. ...

Back in the day, we actually sprayed Eximo. On schedule. The powdered kind. It was awful. The kind most useless on a spill. That blue cheese chalk dust you'd mix with water. There is a liquid solution. We never had it. We mixed up janky chalk dust in a sprayer where it would attack the seals until t...

Those folks who come on to public forums, constantly chiming in on things nobody was talking to them about, always coming off like an expert on everything (we've got at least one on here). And no one EVER responds to them, but they keep grinding away any how. What kind of life must that be like, knowing ev...

The pointless sound effects aside, this update makes the software kind of unstable. It makes the screen go into "Closed" state at random times like when a customer is in the middle of their order. The software loses its connection with the scanner scale for no reason, so the customer cannot weigh thei...

this is the second time (due to a customer complaint that never actually happened) and they just called me back yesterday to work tomorrow, but it feels fishy because its not a normal shift they usually schedule for anyone out there in fuel. but before they I work they want me to go to the managers office...

Kroger must farm out their advertising to kindergarten children. The animated cartoons are so stupid I haven't been back to my local Kroger since the first time I saw the humiliating airing. Apparently Kroger thinks their shoppers are as juvenile as they are. My local Kroger may be a little close...

What is happening is becoming a pattern, spaced out just enough to make it appear less of a pattern, but seems to be escalating in terms of how it negatively reflects upon my work performance. It is so deflating to work solo for 2 hours straight, providing the best customer service I possibly can, feel...

Because this just justifies all the more my ever increasing a$$hole tax on the one percenters when I STEAL pretty much all my merch from those stores now. I'm done bieing mad about the 'credit / debit only' thing. The other day I walked out with a $10 fried chicken box. They had wipe open access between th...

Congratulations kroger: You hired a c.c. who takes a 30 min s-hit in the restroom every day. Our recently new c.c. decides to disappear some where for 30+ min. Turns out he's taking a sh-it in the restroom for 30 min. While watching vids on his phone. I think I'm having a talk to management about this. It'...

Finally disciplined a coworker who was calling out for 95% of their shifts. It took 3 friggen months to discipline them. From a humanity point of view you feel bad for them but you give people a job and they don't want to do the job. Mean while it's hurting the store and business at the same time. This issue...

Vote to strike. No matter what the union tells you to do. After a long negotiation the company will make a major concession by doing something very sensible that costs them nothing, then tell all associates that they took the initiative to help us out. The company actually will never fix serious probl...

I know this has been posted already but Have people noticed instacart shoppers are no longer nice? Theyve become nasty, rude and rudely tell you how to do your job in an unprofessional way. I no longer have respect for these people. Once upon a time the regulars use to be pleasant and fun now theyre nast...

We had a huge covid outbreak in our store this week, and on Thursday I started coming down with all of the covid symptoms. But Kroger won't pay me for being out sick because I haven't taken the vaccine. Only the vaccinated employees can get paid sick leave. Well I can't afford to be off work without pay so I...

The winter storm that's been going on passed through my area. We had a lot of call-ins and had to shut down early as a result. Other retail places were already closed and our store might be closed today as well. I live in the country and was lucky to make it home. I made sure to let both management and the FES k...
