Alright,so I was just hired at Kroger. The lady that interviewed me asked me if I would be temporary, and I responded I would most likely get a second job but I'll always be temporary. On my availability I put available everyday. The thing is I have another job interview tomorrow, and I'm trying to see h...
(Hi, I'm a new poster!) There's a current opening for a midnight stocker in a nearby store (I'm a starbucks barista in a Kroger) but it's not on the bid list. Could I contact my store manager and ask for a transfer? Since I'm part-time, I've heard conflicting things like: 1. I need to quit then re-appl...
If you have a doctor's note, and you're off work for three days (all excused by the doctor's note) can they write you up for it? I have a coworker who does call off more than anyone else in the department, however, this last time she was sick she did have a doctor's note. A couple days ago they took her upstai...
Because she has migraines. So she gets to call out with little or no notice twice a week every week through at least the summer. Strangely enough, she gets the worst migraines on Mondays and Tuesdays. Meanwhile the rest of us get to work double to make up for her not being here. Maybe we should find her doc...
that this dude-guy, moderator here, what ever, who used to work for kroger but got fired from there for being a dumbass, still floats around this forum like an un paid Barney Fife and edits things. Still defending and up holding the precious sanctity of his pweshus lil kroger foryum. There's probably...
My first day to work is tomorrow. But I had my orientation this past Thursday. Do I get paid for that? What day are the pay stubs available to view online? What is the pay period? From what day to what day?

I spent many thousands in Kroger's stores for at least 10 years, probably more. Then I went to work for Kroge...
How long does it take for one to be trained as a checker from a bagger? I have been a bagger for approx 9 months, no mention of checker training after numerous times of me asking. I wouldn't be mad, but the thing is, they're training some other baggers with less seniority than me as well as hiring a bunch of n...
The president of Ralphs is retiring, just announced today 6-21. She is being replaced by the VP. Interesting that SoCal just authorized a strike vote, the first since 2003. Any connection?
First, I'm a --- now former---- customer. I'm never shopping at any of your lousy Kroger stores ever again, and that's pretty sad considering I've been a faithful, loyal customer for well over 40 years! But no more. I go in now, and there's NOTHING on the shelves of what I drove all the way across town to s...
i was suspended indefinitely for 3 months and during this period, i filed for unemployment and was later denied because i didn't make a average weekly wage (during a 20 week period) of $243. I was missed it by 8 dollars smh. And i recently had my grievance meeting the other day and told me i either quit or l...
Just knowing there were so many of your frantically scrambling to figure out something, ANY thing, to get back on......that sent a serious blood flow to my penis! Now I'm wondering when I should do it again, and for how long.
