i don't know how to apply for them but I have heard that you would have to promise Kroger that you will go into management. Not sure about you but i really don't want to do that.

I haven't heard anything about that. I just heard about scholarships available for employees. I'm going into teaching myself...

THere are several scholarships available. They are only available to apply for from January to March I think. I found a poster in the breakroom at the "new" Kroger where I work.

Does anyone know? They took down the poster in the brake room ages ago, and each manager I've asked says, "There's a scolarship?"

You have to apply for the scholarship and then they review it. Then they tell you have to be in management when you graduate. Trust me I have been through it.

I'd love to manage a Kroger one day. I'm only 19, and I'm already an assistant produce manager. It'd be good money...I don't know.
