I work in the non foods at a kroger fresh fare and starting out I got paid a lot more than min wage. I dont know if it is because its not a regular kroger. But I see people on here who have been there for years and barely make over min wage. Are you guys just being hosed? Also new union contracts were just agreed upon which will bring all of our wages up....bring back pensions...and cheaper healthcare...am i just lucky?
under the latest 2 contracts, the starting raises are like $.05 every six months to a year. but they increase each time you get a raise. it now takes longer to max out. it also depends on your union contract and region your in. our region max's out at 15.13 for grocery clerks(dairy, produce, deli, bread) baggers don't get raises anymore no matter how long they decide to work at kroger.
