Why is it that these just out of "Manager in training" idiots think that they run the show. They know less about the business than us grunts who have been working it for ten or more years. If they took half second to see those around them as the senior employees things might actually get done.
If they make them managers ,then they get them off the floor where the real work has to be done. Give'em a pencil or set them in front of a computer. That way they'll do no harm. Outta sight, outta mind. Usually they can't handle any real labor.
Kroger puts in managers just because they have a freaking degree and that sucks. A few years ago we had a co-manager who had two years with the company and all of the sudden he graduates and is in management. Then he acts like he knows more than thirty year employees. just pisses me off!
Krogers management is the bottom of the barrel. I can't see how they've lasted this long. Probably the jewelry stores and gas stations. Their Seniors Day where they get out of paying Uncle Sam taxes for all the money they bring in. Its only a matter of time before the Gravytrain runs out.
Kroger does NO- One a favor unless they get something more out of it.
385 smiths manager thinks the store is his own meat market. The pollock turing Jew so he can sleep with the jew girl. The only department that he his a clue on whats going on is Krosher.Anyone he doesn't want to selp with won't keep thier job, but if theres company comming he jonnie on the spot as soon as they leave he's back in the office with his feet on the desk thinking of who life he can screw with next. Doesn't really say much for Kroger
This is why his boss and his above him doesn't need a advance notice when theres a walkthrough. It defeats the purpose. Big Wheels need to drop in un-anounced and see how things are run on a day to day basis. Catch the worthless management "not" in the act. They always want to cleanup the ****pile when they know someone is coming. Then its back to business as usual.
NO ADVANCE NOTICE!!!!!!! YOU GUYS FROM THE HQ READ THIS NOW! Dont give a headsup. Catch this sorry bastards in the act. Theres plenty of people in line to take their store.
You all are ridiculous. All managers do is listen to people like you complain all day. A manager's job isn't to do all the manual labor...it's to make sure you all do what you're suppose to. You have no clue what managers deal with on a daily basis. I respect my managers very much and wish there weren't people like you all I had to put up with.
It's true. Some managers deserve their positions and do a wonderful job. You'll notice that the good ones spend time talking to their department heads and employees; spending time learning the real issues within the store. A figurehead manager, micromanager, dictatorial boss isn't successful and usually ends up at the worst performing stores. My advice is to find a store that has great success and quality and apply to work within that store. I feel most days that I am part of a team...not a lowly employee. When we get a crappy co-manager, he/she usually doesn't remain with the store for long. Stop whining and suggest some improvements. Is there a forum that discusses improvements and ideas of the associates??? This one is full of pettiness and I'm disappointed that I work with people like you.
