How many think this was a payoff from some uniform company?A good shirt, nametag and nice jeans would have been just fine for someone putting FruitLoops on the shelf. As a PT, I was given the choice.1 pair of pants and 2 shirts or 2 pants and 1 shirt. The FT has double that. Kinda contradicts their own definition of PT. FT work 5 days a week so they get double the amount. PT are usually worked 4-5 hours and scheduled 4-5 days aweek. So apparently even those somewhere up the management chain says PT are only working 2-3 days aweek. So why schedule PT's 5 and 6 days a week?We actually have a PT working 4 days aweek for 4 hours a night.

Kroger needs to fork out some more $$$$ to supply the PT with more uniforms if they're gonna work or showup dressed in what they want you to the amount of days a FT works.

Plus get some better pants, those things are cheap. Paper thin and can't holdup to a real work load. You know we gotta look our best at late night for those panhandlers, riff raff and mixed couples that come in wearing pajamas and fuzzy house shoes.hahaha

Have you asked for another pair of pants? I am sure if you ask kindly and show your logical reason they will gladly give you an extra pair.

And you may also wear your own pants as long as they conform to the Kroger uniform of your location.

I've asked about a replacement 4 times. 3 times with the assistant grocery mgr which is there with us each night and pretty much runs the grocery dept. And once with the AsstStoreMgr. Still NO replacements. The union book says they are to supply or replace at their cost.

To the person who cant get uni's!

Go in one day in plain clothes. They will then give you a uniform to do your shift. If for some reason they don't, just have your uni out in the car. When they go after the uniforms, ask for an extra pair.

I think someone got their palm greased good on this deal. Customers don't give a rats ass what your wearing. Long as they can get their item with the EBT card or their 10% seniors discount each month. A good shirt and good jeans at night has always been the standard.Especially for those on Stock Crew at late night who actually have to do alot of labor in a short time.

Hell, someone has to work so the lumps can socialize in the day with the customers about the ball game or Nascar all in the name of helping the customer. Thats why they rag us at night more than anybody else. They sure don't do **** in the day except charge grocery the hours and put them on the front end cashiering. I guess they think we don't see it.
