hey! has anyone ever seen on their paycheck or heard about an additon benefit fee called on your paystup BENEFIT BUYUP? If you choose the medical family plan you would be charged $220 a week!!! I swear to God this has happened! has this ever happened to any of you? how can an employee who earns $9/hr afford taken out of their pay check over $220/wk for family medical! How much should it be
This is for employees who opt to have their families covered by Kroger's health insurance, BUT their family members have a job that offers another insurance AND that insurance is turned down.
The idea is if you work for Kroger and your spouse works for WalMart, You should have Kroger Insurance and Your spouse should take WalMart's insurance. If your spouse is unemployed or is not offered insurance at their job, this fee is waived.
