Power trippin' dike bitch seafood manager

I have been working in the seafood/meat dept. for three years. The seafood manager, who thinks she owns me, is a power tripping bitch from hell. She got suspended a month ago for stealing hours and they only suspended her for a week. Everyone else I have known to do less than that has gotten fired on the spot. Guess corporate made an exception and left the decision to the store director. I had to cover for her during her suspension and since she has come back she has made my life a living hell! Guess she thinks she is indispensable now. All she does is read magazines, talk on the phone, and make me do all of her work.  I brought this up to the meat manager and when he confronted her, she freaked out on him and told him he wasn't doing his job! What a bunch of bull****! After all of that, she leaves me a note telling me that 'she has bad news for me and that I have to do whatever she tells me to do' I really don't think I deserve to be treated like that after I have covered her worthless ass for 3 years. What a piece of ****! Everybody in my store hates her guts and iI really don't understand why she gets away with all of this.

It seems that way with a lot of Seafood Managers, For some reason, I don't know, they think that their $3000.00 a week dept is some big deal. I had one of those when I first started. I called her out on it. She told me if I didn't like the way she was doing things, go to the manager...I went right over the meat mgrs head and went straight to the store manager. I don't know how tight you are with the management team there, but have them watch her. If she is a piece of crap, make sure they see her talkin on the phone...stealin time...krogers considers reading magazines that aren't paid for theft. Do whatever it takes. If she leaves you another note...give it to em.

Two, Your store set a precedent by letting her come back. Now if anyone else gets fired for stealing time, they are going to have to let them come back to work with pay. You gotta love it LOL

Had one like that when I started in the market many years ago. I just ignored her and only helped when I had to or was told I had no choice. Got her so pissed at me that she cussed me out without knowing there was some customers near by that heard her. She was fired. Company wanted to relocat her but I files a grievance for un safe and hostile working enviroment. That was all for her.
