Does anyone work as a floral back up or lead? I may become floral back up or lead in a floral dept at Kroger. I started at $8.35 eight months ago if given the title of back up or even lead, will this come with a raise? What is the typical pay for floral lead or back up?
It's not really a lead position it is called a "Floral Specialist." Pay rates vary at all Krogers it depends on the union contract for your store. You need to check your union contract or give them a call. Floral Specialist usually make more money, because they do run the department, but it's under produce.
I've never heard of a back up position for flora. It's a step up in the right direction, if you can maintain your shrink and inventory maybe you could get promoted.

Check your local contract for your pay rates. If you are in local 1000, Dallas Clerks, then thier new pay rates seem to be on herew and I saw their contract and can verify they are correct.
