Just guessing here but if terminated and a NO-Rehire was placed on you then probably not . But if that was not on your termination then there is a chance you could. Now here is an idea for you to try. I have seen ( over the years) three people terminated for things as they was planning to move. All three contacted the union and the union was able to work out a deal where the termination was listed as a voluntary termination and a rehire ability left on so that they could move to another state and transfer in. Also seen in the area I work ( north of Dallas) where the markets are so desperate that store managers has over ridden no rehires and brought them into the meat departments even when they was terminated in the same district and one in the same store.
It is a crap shoot and just depends. Best bet is to see if your local Union can help work something out.
it all depends on management,,, and the reason why u were fired,,, some managers will not do it because of the case,, but i have hired a couple workers that was fired with no rehired,,,,,
If you can be rehired in 60 days then my best guess is it is not a NO-REHIRE. If you are going to Texas I do not think you would have a big problem. I have seen many people terminated and then rehired back at different stores and one in the same store because all the stores seem to be short handed all the time. What department do you work in and where in Texas are you planning to go to?
