99 cent milk. what is some of your greatest sales you thought you would not see.

Over many a years I have seen some great sales but have not seen these for some time . have had Kroger milk for .99 cents per gallon for the last 2 weeks. Was a 3 day say with a limit of 4 but has continues on for about 2 weeks. Limit of 2 now with a $10 purchase. And then on Friday was asked if we could move 2 pallets of Family packed Angus ground chuck at .99 cents a pound. Was hoping it would last for a day or more but without anything but a big ugly sign it was all gone in about 5 hours.
Also remember a sale a few months back of .79 cents a pound pour shoulders where we went thru 150 cases in a week and could have done more if the warehouse did not run out. And that followed by a brisket sale ( .89 cents ) a nfew weeks later where we went thru 250 cases.

And we are just a little old store.

What is some of your more memorable sales that you thought you would not see but did.

So tell me how that went over. Our Dairy person has to face that  .59 cent medium egg sale here and still face the  .99 cent a gallon  milk.

during a mega sale we had, if you bought 10 participating items you received $5 off your order so basically the best sale in that promotion was 32oz gatorades for $0.50 (when you bought 10).  We sold thousands of them!!  multiple pallets delivered each day and they'd sell out, we couldn't keep the shelf and display full! crazy

All family packed and had to grind it and wrap in our selves. Whent thru 45 cases or 3600 pounds. Not bad for me, my assistant and a hurd of ( 3) turtles.
