^wow i can't believe someone actually put that item back out for sale.  HURR DURR.  Now if it's a label or something that COULDN'T affect the quality of the product, I'll put it out, but as for the chips, no way!

I buy our store brands any chance I get.  Most of them are passable and decent. Now there's a few items that I don't go cheap on, but for 90% of the items I get, I go corporate brand (10% discount)

I wonder when I see people buying items like baking soda, vinegar, salt and pepper, sugar, etc,  why would you buy anything but the cheapest?  I cannot tell the difference between sugar that costs $1.99 and the one that costs twice that, but some people still buy it.  I think they're just lousy with their money.  I mean seriously it's not like you eat these items by themselves in a way that you could taste them....you mix them and I'd bet money that a cake made with generic sugar, flour, etc would taste the same as if you bought the more expensive stuff.

I agree, or atleast what you can do is buy your one fav brand of cake mix and all the other items can be off brand...pretty much!

I'm a mad freak for diet citrus drop.

i'm also a cheap person, I do like you guys, salt.. no I'm not buying mortons. kroger sugar is fine.

But things like pancake sryup, don't buy cheap, there is a difference, Tostito chips, get the real ones. cheesy puffs.. get the real ones.

do what I did, get one of each and try them for yourself, see if the cost is worth the goods.

just remember you get what you pay for

I hate Kroger brand rising crust pizzas. I can eat Private Selection thin crust, but rising crust I hate it.

I too, am a cheap person or just can not afford to spend a lot of money on some products. Find little differance between the Kroger brands and private labels. Overall there has been a few that I do not care for but will recommend most all or them over the private brands most any time.

Now I have tried ( many times) Wallyu world brands and would rather have the kroger brands any day over them.

the "Just Right" peanut butter with the red label and blue writing...less sodium and sugar I think, is awful, I wouldn't feed it to a starving animal
