i requested a investigation, from the national ufcw, on my greivence, and the terrible job the local did on my behalf.
they refused, saying they had already 'looked into it' and the local did nothing wrong, and the case is declared closed.
first, they did a investigation in one day ? somehow, i doubt that.  and second, how dare they declare MY greivence closed, without MY concent?
so let it be known, load and clear, the ufcw is NOt on your side.
12 years, i supported this union with my dues, only to have them abadon me at my time of need.
my mission now, is to let all know just how they work. they bed with store management. they lie about your chances. they will not question their own, and they decide when your done fighting.
i also think they are spreading bad word about me, because i dared to question them, because several job prospects suddnly dry of, after they show intrest. they don't say why yesterday, they wanted me to work for them, today they don't. unions call it black balling. i find out it's true i wil FIND a way to sue
