No one is supposed to use your phone number not even you. plenty of people have been fired for it. people using the same number loading up rewards points. you might get away with it this time but I highly recommend you stop. you're supposed to hand your card to the cashier and let them scan it.

You are supporting fraud. It is basically wrong to use someone else's card to get discounts, particularly when one is not related to the card owner. Very dishonest.no

If it's your mother using your card then it SHOULDNT matter. I let my brother use my card and he stays with me. But if Kroger asked I'd tell him he stays with me EVEN though it's NOT their business

Technically, only immediate family living in the same household are allowed to use your discount.

Ok I'm not a "young" employee. My mother lives in another state and is on SSI. I would love to help her save where she can, do you think they would have an issue? Does the discount count at Jay C's too?

They might not KNOW, but if they do find out, they will probably care. The discount is specifically for family members who live with you.

Just keep it on the down low and don't state where she lives. If they ask, say she stays with you. They don't need to know by different. I don't think they'd ask for her proof of residency. If they did, it be pretty stupid n juvenile for them to do so.

However, keep in mind that they may not have to ask. MAX is a system that tracks things in many systems that are out of the ordinary, including the same plus card tied to an employee being used in multiple states frequently.

Agreed. They may ask questions. EVEN IF it is your mother. Theyll see what they consider unusual transactions on your card in another state and may ask "How is xxx getting these discounts from another store in another state when they are here?" They will ask and may not believe you when you saybits your mother using your card.

Now there is NOTHING wrong with your mother using your card however Kroger may decide there is especially if she does not live in your household.
