hey i need to know how many hours they need to give you between working shifts.  so if you work late one night and they bring you in early the next day, isnt thee supposed to be so many hours between the shift? just wondering

for the dayton contract, it's 10 hrs between shifts

Under my contract it's 8 hours.  Anything less than that and they have to pay you time and a half for the difference.

 Ours is 8 hours as well. I only WISH ours were 10 hrs! I hate working until midnite and then coming back at 8 am LOL

ours was 10, thou that rule got broken a lot

In the delta division it's 10 hrs between shift and if you work you are entitled to short rest pay which is time 1/2 for that whole shift.  Now, they will try to get you to wiave it.  Now, if it's in their error and not yours I wouldn't waive it.  They can't do anything if you don't via contract. 

 

But my advice to you is to ask your Guest Service manager for a union hand book and read it from front to back to know your rights that way you can prevent them from mistreating you cause you already know your rights.
