This data base contains the names and email addresses of customers who voluntarily provided their names and email addresses to Kroger. We want to assure you that the only information that was obtained was your name and email address. As a result, it is possible you may receive some spam email messages. Kroger wants to remind you not to open emails from senders you do not know. Also, Kroger would never ask you to email personal information such as credit card numbers or social security numbers. If you receive such a request, it did not come from Kroger and should be deleted.

Kroger has alot of backdoors to their information. I thought they knew about their weak IT department. I sold the work I was going to propose regarding a certain software application to a competitor after I severed my relationship with the company. Too bad Kroger! I should post the application I used to peer at emails and such to say... The PirateBay!!! For legal purposes all of this is BS, the rest of you fire up the hacker that dwells within!!!. the breach happened through a 3rd party vendor that kroger uses for an e-mail database. the company is called Epsilon. i cant really fault kroger on this mess up cept for using this company
