Got to work today and went to the breakroom and went to clock in and there was no time clock. It was removed and now all employees must use the time clock in the front of the store. Our break room is in the back of the store and the front time clock is in the floral shop which is small and cramped and made for a claustrophobic area around the time of shift changes.
Anyone else out there gone through anything like this?
Ours was located by the service desk and our district manager came in and threw a fit because of how congested it was (coat rack was overflowing with coats, drinks everywhere). It was then moved to the hallway by the deli leading up to the office.
I've been at the other Kroger store across town and it is the same way. The hallway and upstairs there is even more cramped than what ours is.

at one time, we had three time clocks. one in the back, one in the front, and one upstairs. they got rid of the one in back, because they diddn't like people" sneaking their clocks in and out "how you could, i don't know, but there was no camera at the back one, is all i can think of
the one up front staied broke a lot, and you had to up stairs, and get someone to unlock the computer room, to clock in and out. this of coarse ate up time, and you were told to come in 15 minutes early, to avoid loosing work time, waiting to clock in.
