We have 4 employees whom recently were caught eating an item off the shelf a few nights ago by risk management. They said it was a sample but it was an hour before close so I doubt they buy that. The one girl is on camera getting the items and the other 3 just
Were eating it. They were told they'd know in 10 days the outlook of their situation, what do you think will happen to them all? Guarenteed fire? Or warning? Is the 10'day thing normal?
at my store, that is imediate termination. especially if they are caught on camera. i dont buy the sample part eithier. if that is the case, that is pretty nasty. dont think samples would still be good an hour before closing. i guess it depends on the sample. if the item was on the shelf, then its not a sample.
No she pulled it off at 8 we close at 9. Anyway, they're still working is why I'm confused...we are super short staffed and it's memorial day weekend...
wow, yall close at 9? what area are you in? we used to close at midnight, now its 1am.... yes im confused too, why they are still working. thats theft no matter how it was done.
I'd be calling and asking and raising caine asking why thieves are allowed to keep their jobs. because if i'd do it i know for damn sure they would fire me on the spot.

yes, we have had people stealing, giving discounts in the deli and meat dept. they got caught and fired on the spot. once the camera shows what they did, there is no explaination. FIRED on the spot.
