the deli has changed drink sizes a small and a large for 99cents and no free refills. and no employee discount. has this happened anywhere else this is bull**** because thats how i was refreshed throughout the day. now it would cost me 3 dollars to drink what i normally would. this is so greedy of them. i dont understand the price hike its bull****. so i am no longer buying anything from the deli in protest. join me bretheren.
The no free refills I can understand, but to make a small what used to cost for a large------and no employee discounts in the same hit??
Boycott: it's the best way to send a message. Kick back in your break room with a 7-ELEVEN Super-Slurpy, and with a Hindu accent, say "I no get screwed at de convenience store!"
Those prices have not been applied to my deli. But we have never been allowed to offer free refills in the first place to anyone, for anything other than tea or water.
If you are worried about being "refreshed" Water is the best option and most stores have a drinking fountain. Why not just bring a water bottle to work?
When it comes down to it, the goal of a store is to make money. if the free refills > Profit of soda product, then it makes sense for them to eliminate the free refills.
You get a paycheck and health benefits for the work you do. Why do you feel entitled to receive other items for free just because you work there?

if you were smart you would just go buy a 2 liter big-k. we lock the soda fountain every night after discovering the night shift making use of it. are you saying that they gave a 'bottemless cup'. thats insane! be glad you had whatever it was in the past b/c it was a deal and not one truly authorized by kroger rather a mistake.
send me your address and i'll mail you 35˘ for the employee breakroom soda machine

If you were really smart you would just drink some unsweet ice tea/green tea or drink water. The high fructose corn syrup in soda should be avioded if posible. But yes, if you are speaking only about cost per serving then a two leader of big k cola would be much less $.
