Leaving early?

So recently i was told that the third shift in our store frequently gets to leave early if they get everything done. But 2nd shift has to work through all of there backstock and throw peyton and never get to leave early.

In general how often do you or others in your department leaver early than there scheduled time?

When I worked 3rds, the head gro would offer early outs if the truck was 100% done. This would make dayshifters upset? Put it this way: If the night crew stayed all night ... they would get the truck done .. nothing else. If they knew they could leave early, they worked harder to leave early. Same results...

Oh btw any daytime grocery that complains about the "good" parts about 3rd shift stock crew should trade jobs with one of the stockers. I'm sure someone has been trying to go to days since his hire date.

Oh you can't or won't work nights? I figured that.
