I saw our most recent mystery shopper report and I was the one noted in the deli part of the report. While I got yes on all the things listed on their report, they listed me as 5-4' to 5-6'. I'm actually 5-9'. No problem hard to tell by looking but they listed me as 55.
I'm nowhere near 55. My mother is 55 for crying out loud. Just thought I'd share! see ya!
Friend of mine worked for a grocery chain in the NE. He and some of his buddies always got excellent mystery shopper reports. Turns out his brother's girlfriend's sister was the mystery shopper! She always let my friend know when she would be in the store, and almost always included one of his group in her report. Somebody spilled the beans to management and she was reassigned. Just thought I'd share the story.......
I was working at a smaller Kroger store last fall which got the bottom score in the zone for workplace attitude and engagement, yet consistently got 100% on the mystery shops.
Turns out management knew who the mystery shopper was and would call to the departments on the intercom to tell them that the mystery shopper was in the store.
On another note, I heard one story where a zone manager called a store manager to tell him about a great score recieved by a employee, but that employee had been dead for two months before the shopper came in.
our store was failing mystery shops and there was a big deal about it. they tried all kinds of stupid crap, like ask me about blah blah stickers. they then told us that the mystery shopper comes on sunday between 12-4, we havent failed since. about the listing of what you look like, they had me down as 5/7,5/9 yet i am 6/1 with my shoes on. they also seem to get my hair color wrong too.
