I'm not sure if anyone knows this but I have a question a reaching full time status at Kroger. I know where my store is located we have to average 36 hours for 16 weeks. I was wondering if time paid off for a funeral is counted towards this and if holiday pay hours are counted towards it as well, even though I didn't work the holiday. I would appreciate if anyone could help me out. Thanks.
Your best bet to get full time hours? Where ever you work, doesn't matter, the principle is the same: IMPRESS THE HELL out of your managers. There are other ways....but none better.
Log in to ess.kroger.com using your euid and password, Then click payroll on the left side of the screen. All you have to do is average up the past 16 weeks.
if you take vacation during the sixteen weeks..does it count those hours or do you just leave the vacation week out during the calculation of fthe 16 weeks needed to reach full time
whats frustrating , is kroger keeps upping what it takes to be full time, to keep more people from ever getting there.
when i started, it was 32.5 hours a week, for 8 weeks, got you full time.
keep VERY close tabs on what your hours are every single week, kroger WILL, I REPEAT WILL go into the computer, and BACK YOU OUT just enough time, to push you under what you need, if they think they can get away with it. i have seen it, and had it done to me.
day by day, check your hours, but double check at the end of the week. do no let even 15 minutes slide, or they will do it again and again.
my store had a manager fired over this very thing, taking peoples worked hours, out of the computer
Kroger isnt the only one to blame, your union accepted it. BTW dont complain. Its 40 hours a week for 12 weeks here to get full time. If yours was previously 32.5 its good they raised it. Its way too low, that's coming from an hourly associate.
