are the people at the warehouses retarded? We have been out of the 20 pound ice for two weeks and we order it and they keep sending the 10 pound bags. Our freezer is pretty much ice with a little bit of food throughout it
I wonder about the warehouse and whoever is in charge of coordinating the ordering with the sales plan. I swear, every period there will be an item advertised that the warehouse will be out of stock for several days. They know what's going on sale weeks in advance. You would think they'd have enough time to prepare.

i blame the "extreme coupon" homos for this, scratches happen because people buy 20+ items at once, dept. heads order heavy to try and cover for this, and warehouse runs out. at least that's how it seems to happen here
Nice thing about extreme couponing in stores, is that Kroger recently sent out notices on new coupon procedures. The new rules are pretty detailed, so I cant remember them all. I'm not a cashier. But they do make it impossible to extreme coupon in our store. Hopefully that helps out a bit.
Maybe someone else has seen the memo I am talking about and can remember details.
The new coupon rules: You can only triple and double the coupon on two like items only with two identical coupons PER TRANSACTION. After that, cashiers are supposed to use the face value. So, hypathetically speaking, mustard is 89 cents per bottle. They have a coupon for 25 cents off, which would triple making it actually 75 cents off. This would make it a total of 14 cents per bottle. And extreme couponers would have so many of this same coupon and then buy so many of the item, clearing the shelf. Now, you can only use two of these mustard coupons per order, making it very time consuming if you want to use bunches of coupons of the same item.
Our store no longer carries 20 lb ICE. I do not care. Kroger ICE is too high. I can stop by ICE House and get a 16 lb bag for $1.50. ICE House is a ICE vending machine in Georgia. It saids 16 LB bad $1.50 but I know it's more ICE than the Kroger 20 lb. Maybe your store also stopped carring the 20 lb?
