Usually it only says, "Ring Restricted" if you're trying to clock in for your shift more than 7 minutes early.  You're missing a punch somewhere because the time clock is thinking you're trying to punch in rather than punching out.  Talk to whoever is in charge of time and attendance.

This usually happens if the schedule hasn't been put into the system. The person taking care of "kronos" will take care of it. At our store, at the customer service desk, there's a log sheet to fill out for this. Look to see if yours has one.
