My last vacation of the year has come to and end and I don't get another one for 3 months. I know some people say that if they're off for a while they can't wait to get back to work. I don't think I could ever have that problem. I still have 20 years before I can collect Social Security but I'm ready to retire now. Some people love to work. I hate it.
Work makes you appreciate your off time more. If you never worked, you would be bored with life I'm afraid. Everything seems fresher once you come home from a 8 hour day.
Not sure about that. I just learned from experience. It is more stressful being jobless than having a job. I think the ideal is a part time job. Somewhere between 20-30 hours a week is ideal.
So "anon"...don't like to work -huh? I'm guessing the ideal job for you would be to work at a landfill, pointing to the dump trucks where to drop their load.... Orrrr...would that still be too much work for ya? I loath lazy a**es like you. Makes my job seem like I'm working two and I'm only getting paid for my work.
be lucky you get one in three months. I was with schnucks for 6 years coming up on 3 weeks of vacation in jan, But when kroger bought schnucks out I along with others got screwed out of vacation. Have to wait one year before I can even get 1 weeks worth and 4 years yes FOUR YEARS, before I can even get 2 weeks worth! That is screwed up!!!
by the way kroger bought out schnucks in the Memphis TN area in September of this year.
