Wouldn't doubt it. Word through the grapevine even into late summer of this year was that GO thought that Central Division sucked in every measure just about. Would not surprise me if they ended up pruning the division back to keep just the parts that make the money (Indy, Bloomington, Ft. Wayne, Peoria and Rockford).

I work in central.... Decatur Illinois and this is the 1st I heard of this rumor ........
It's the first I have heard of it too, but it also wouldn't surprise me if it were true. GO has some major hate for Central, especially since the stores can't seem to get Key Retailing right.

After this got posted yesterday... I decided to ask around at work today... They did indeed sale 7 of the Rockford Hilander stores to Schnucks back in September... Plus they sold a fuel center and closed 3 other stores. They also redistricted district 7 by adding the Bloomington Il and Lincoln Il back into district 7...... Trust me I know all about the major hate that GO has for the Most of Central.... Because when they came over here about 2 months ago to decatur Il.. Out the 4 decatur stores my scored a 8... Which was the highest of the 4 stores....
I work in Peoria. Kroger sold 6 hilander stores that weren't preforming to schnucks in northern IL. Google it. I'm not sure how much was offered, but the MR i talked to said that it was "an offer they couldn't refuse".
