Details are sketchy, but apparently a manager of some sorts was involved in this. Naturally they'll loose their job, but at least they saved the public the cost of a trial and jail for the fool would-be-robber. A Facebook campaign has sprung up to protest any possible firing of the person involved in the shooting, should the police decide use of force was justified.

i'm glad the stupid robber got what was coming to him. but if i remember correctly, i read and signed an agreement that as an employee of kroger i will not have on me firearms, bombs, knives, fighting, gambling, sleeping, etc. soooo he screwed up when he brought the gun to work.
