Go to the meeting but make sure to have a voice activiated recorder so there is no doubt what is said. Then at a later time you need a lawyer the will have all information. Not that it can be used in a court arena but they can't deny what was said!

fist thing that is done, is all parties have to state they have no recording device, so you can't legally record.

that way, they can curse , insult and lie like they want, and trust me, i know from experience, they do all three.

kroger wiil break it's own rule about who will be present.

they will fill the room with people to intimidate you.

i had a human resources guy, zone manager, store manager, and a co manager at my last grievence.

the store manager wasn't even the one that was there when i was suspended, neither was the co.

it was all a bully tactic, and it worked, i couldn't get a word in, for all them and my union rep was to scared, or in their pocket ,to speak.

you CAN take notes thou, and do so, lots of them, and detailed.

throw  their own words back at them.

rememeber, they have already made up their minds what they want to do. you have to show them it won't be worth the effort, and you won't go out easy
