So as i was going into work last night i checked the schedule to see what i was working next week. 3 days.......12 hours in total for next week. We had to move one of our guys to drug gm just because there wasn't enough hours in grocery, and he only got 12 hours in drug gm. I don't know if it is just our store or if it is Kroger in general, but if this continues i am going to find another job. 12 hours is barely enough for the gas in my car to and from work every week.
January is the last month in the Kroger fiscal year, and they are probably trying to penny pinch as much as possible. If you can wait it out to February, you might start getting better hours then. I know how you feel though. Few years ago I was working on the front end and I was lucky to get 16 hours a week. Glad I got out of that ****, now if only I could just get away from Kroger entirely.
drug g/m here first week 25 hours my second only 10 in drug g/m and 6 hours for tags 16 hours total i do not understand how this is fair i make 7.30hr i know the other three people make alot more than me and get more hours wtf atleast give me 22 hours i will never say yes when asked to do tags again so if i didn't do tags i would have gotten 10-12 hours do that too me and i will start robbing sh** if they don't give me more hours i have already cased the store and know where the cameras are and not i was really depressed when i saw how much they ****ed me next week
from what i saw my first week it takes alot to keep g/m stocked and they only wanna work me 10 hours in drug g/m makes no since to my brain i been shoping this same kroger my whole life so when i was hired my first week i stocked shelves so fast ALL the g/m carts where empty with 2 hours left in workday i never took break or lunch and they take 13 hours away from me? the more i think about it makes me wanna knock all the crates over next payday and say i quit and walk off
mastered the scan gun used to keep track of stock in 1 hour there system was all messed up i had to change alot of there numbers... stuffed so much candy on front end and candy aisles every person who asked me where something was i told them where and walked them to it my fellow g/m partners are slow pokes and more worried about chatting about b/s then getting done with the carts quick and moveing on with the next one like example grabing toothpaste box and getting 2 out walking all the way down the aisle to stock the two they have in hand theres like 16-24 in a box right WE ARE BY THE SAMPOO AND HAVE A CART FULL OF IT WTF atleast grab the whole box of tooth paste don't get 2 and walk back and forth takes you longer retards and too think i'm in my first week aand already know how to do job better and quicker than you cannot wait untill i finish collage and make 60k+ a year and laugh at all you $400 a week losers
