i have been at kroger for 4 and a half months and not one of those 15 dollar ice creams have been bought. The smaller flavors only get bought like once every 2 weeks. Why do we sell it at all?
From what I understand, graeters is a central Ohio/Cincinnati area thing, and since Kroger is from Cincy, that might be why it's in stores that might not even have a Graeters around. Tons of people buy it at my store because it's a local thing, and we also carry pints of "gourmet" local ice cream from a shop called Jeni's, and people love it, eve though it's $10 a pop.
i'm not worried about having the expensive icecream that no one will ever buy even though they could get rid of that **** and put in a product that might actually sell....what concerns me is one day (probably soon after the idiots read this post), they will come up with the idea to put that **** on display: "pack it full!" then when it goes off display, you're stuck with 40 cartons of that overpriced crap...that my friends, is what's concerning
