I work at the Dillions in Great Bend Ks, hired as part time and up working 30 to 40 hours a day. I don;t even ****ing know why they put a shedle end time on our paper work we are never out of there when were suppose to be. This last month for the most part i been schedule 3 to 4 hours, but end up working 7 to 12 hours with out a lunch break. I have yet to get out of there on time ever.... Been yelled at just cuase i will make DR apts in the mornings at times that am suppose to be off (but never am) and so i have to leave

they can not make you stay past your scheduled time unless you agree to. They are required by union rules to give you a lunch break if you are at work for more than 6:30 hours.

anytime this happens make a note of it, get people who will vouch for you, and file a grievance with your union representative on whomever is not allowing you to leave or take a lunch.

if you want to cause waves of course.

 No union at my store.....had my 30 eval last monday (started there in October so yeah see how that went) and was told even though am only schoedule 3 or 4 hours am expected to stay til everything is done....I was leaving on the short nights after the truck was thorwn so the others didn't get screwed in that regard

 not all of them. That "right to work" BS puts a real damper on unions.
