A Truck Driver at Ralphs / Food 4 Less in Compton, Calif was Threaten by the Asst Transportion Manager, the driver had 9 hrs on the clock and had to go to a Dr. appt. The Manager told him if he had a gun, he would put it to his head,if he left, that is uncalled for , he was reported to the Union and Ralphs, they gave him a week off, This guy should have been Fired on the spot ! He goes to work smelling like Beer everynight, I myself dose'nt think it was Reported to Koger , of the fact, Ralphs said they take care of there own. And now he is watching that Driver, to do something wrong.
have been threatened a few times by co-workers myself. Always came down to If I wanted to have them terminated, suspended, or transferred to some where else. Never had them terminated and all others was moved and had a suspension. All but one. Been threatened by him twice. He is just a stubborn bull headed jackass of a kid at 22 years old. I am training him to be a meat cutter.
But never had a problem with Kroger and the discipline of any employee as far as threats to harm some one. They have always taken care of it swiftly as far as I have seen.
