is this happening at other stores or just mine? We get something almost everyday that the mexicans have helped themselves to. This is clearly shrink under the "warehouse damage" that they don't like us to use. One day they'd all eaten slim jims and left the empty wrappers all over the pallet, the next someone had opened a box of cereal (probably ate some) then rolled the bag like you would at home and shipped it to us. wtf? i want to say something about it to my zone manager but i'm pretty sure she's mexican and would be offended even though it's [probably] true.
Just say someone has been shipping goods that seem to already have been eaten to your store from the warehouse. You don't have to say who you think it is. They will investigate it and take care of the problem. :)
I was unstacking a very lopsided pallet of frozen food one day, all of them on that truck were to some extent, and at the bottom of a couple of them we found empty beer cans.

Now I will not say Mexicans because there is no true proof of that. Now I have seen things like that from time to time but not that often. Here is some advice.
Every time I have complained about damaged or open product, it has come with the "shoot me a picture of it " quote. What you may consider is to take a picture if it as soon as you notice it. Then let your co-manager ( in charge of your department ) know about it. Save the picture and if it happens again then send an email or even sent the picture to your district manager or department MR. I have complained many times before and what they like to have is a picture so they can see what it is and have a time. Been doing that for the last 5 years or so and usually get better results on damage or even partially eaten items
But in the 23 years , in the market, I see more damaged items and not as much partially eaten.
yea I believe just as many "trailer trash" white dudes, or "ghetto" black guys, and even affluent people of any and all race are capable of stealing then eating Slim Jims. Oh and lets not forget the women - they like Slim Jim's too dont they?
