GOOD. Sad that it came to this, but good. This forum has existed for over eight years and I hope it continues to do so, but with the recent barrage of twisted psychos running amuck on here, this was inevitable.

u can start a dozen new sites but the perverts will follow u and spread their disgusting posts/pics- they want attention and ur giving it to them by recognizing their sicko effects. It's real easy IGNORE AND SHUN!

this is a kroger employee forum not a business financial site so Dave Dillon and his henchmen can brag and pat each other on their backs- so forget that new site- if u take the time to read Dillon's press release it's all about continuing record sales and profits..blah, blah, blah Customer First- nowhere in their manifesto do you see anything about store employees or the master plan to force 70% part-time mandate. the real slogan should read Profit First, Store workers Last. The one thing that used to separate Kroger from the Walmarts, Super Valu, Food Lions, Costcos, and Aldis was that u could actually see the difference in quality work and service because they had a strong core of full-time, career employees that knew their jobs and their products. Now they have a casual majority of indifferent , unknowledgeable part-timers that have no idea what to do unless they are micro-manged by Key Retailing or Q vision. U can dumb it down so any local yokel can stock the shelves or scan cans of pork and beans but in the money u save from low wages and low benefits you put urself on the same level as any bottom feeder no frills merchant. What was that benchmark quote that Barney Kroger left us with? Something about it's not about how much u can sale and how much profit u can make but how many people you can develop. That's goin to be tuff to do with a never ending stream of part-timers that are constantly looking for better, full-time careers with a future....Of course this is just my humble opinion- I could be wrong..
