krogers has gone down hill --

I have been with kroger 15 years now and in the last 5 we have really gone down hill -- key retailing they  have been trying to get that in all the stores for 5 years or more now -- IT DOES NOT WORK -- now they want Cap where we keep the tables close to empty unless company is coming in and we fill it up if company is the ones making the programs then why do we need to fill everything up when they come in? and hide what programs they feel we need? also I think they should shut up about shrink to  the department heads -- I am not allowed to remove or add tables I am not allowed to remove or add product  - they set how many of what I put out - I do not control my loss you do and I follow your program to a tee go yell at your self is what they need to do  -- it funny also cap may say i need 5 pies out but they require me to have 16 on the table min so what do I follow -- I talk to different people get different answers --

it's a tale as old as time itself- no extra expenses, no overtime, no hours to clean with but then the world's worst kept secret gets out that some VIP is coming to visit and all hell beaks loose! they tell u to make it look like grand opening conditions- shrink/overtime is no concern. then the "SUIT" gets chauffered to handpicked stores and gets a big "Snow Job" from local mgmt about how everything is wonderful and that he/she is seeing "everyday conditions and levels". Then whoosh back to the local district office for some more butt kissin then back to corporate jet and back home in time for happy hour and gourmet dinner.

Kroger has wasted way too much time, money, and effort in their new policies.
Thats why they can never stop them.
Anyone who suggests that this is a waste faces ridicule and loss of their job by people who may very well know it's been a waste.
Not to mention how would it look to anyone other than the people who have had actual experience with the system. Kroger withdraws a plan that has cost them craploads. The company would appear foolish and stock would probably go down.
Krogers has dug itself down in to the hole. The fix for the problem would be a break for the corporation. Now they are just tunneling around looking for a way to bend the hole in to a way out. All they can do is dig themselves down further.
