I had to open one day. At one point I was getting the trash outside. As I made my way to the compactor, I was paged when I just got there. I hurried up, chucked my load in, and got back up front. I got written up because I didn't drop everything and run back up. The person that wrote me up was already upset because of a short-handed staff and decided to take their anger out on me. I do my job the best I can and someone still finds a reason to **** on me.
Sounds like the front end at my store. They send the bagger as far away as possible from the front to do something and then seems that as soon as they get there, they call them back up front.

if a person is worth a **** then there is not really a problem. When chicken **** stuff like this happens then there is generally a reason.
poster is leavin out something here . got to be more to this that what he is sayin.
Did a memeber of store management (co-manager or manager) write you up? The next time (and hopefully it doesnt happen) they try to write you up. Specifically request your union representative from your local union, not the store steward be present for this. You are entitled to this option. If they try to continue with the write up, just comply and then you can file a complain on refusal of union rights. Several years back I was in somewhat of a similar sitution w/ a write up and my weingarter rights were refused and it backfired of them bigtime.
I always carry my union representative's card in my wallet w/ the Weingarter Rights written on the backside. I have no problem going into the office and saying little to nothing to those monkeys

It could be exactly like you said and they just took out their anger on you but politics plays a big part in krogers. If they didnt like you or higher ups arent liking your work they will write you up for stupid things.
