Why is there such a differene on how we feel about Managers? Divisions? Zones, Districts, what? and are Co's better when Manager is gone or worse? Do they treat each other with respect or compete?
*If leadership, fairness, and consistency are a guidepost for co-managers, we just lost a great one, as she got transferred to another store...but she couldn't leave without a ton of well wishes from the employees...THAT, my friends, is the mark of a good manager...when people actually MISS you when you're gone...if they don't miss you, you must have done something wrong...And with this particular manager, there were many employees that would bend over backward to help her or do anything for her...but there are others who have come and gone who those same employees wouldn't lift a finger for...like the saying goes...if you want respect, you have to give it...Sorry to anyone who disagrees...
