So... I was assulted by the Produce Manager in my store. Basically, my HR manager is doing little to nothing about it. They are actually trying to make me continue working with her, I'm totally serious. Does anyone know the direct number to Coroporate HR out of Cinci? I can't find it anywhere! Thanks!

If you were assaulted by her and it happens again call the police and file charges on her. She will defiantly get terminated.

Your post, while intriguing, is a little vague.  Can you please give more details concerning your assault.  Was it verbal or physical?

Either way - depending on the true seriousness of this alleged assault - you have the right to transfer out of the store.  Is that what you wish or just be moved to a different department? Decide on what you wish to happen. I presume you feel strongly towards you convictions on the seriousness of this matter.  If this is the case then my suggestion to you is to type up an incident report on the matter.  Make it a "one page memo" meaning explain what happened w/in 1 page only so doesn't ramble on and on and on.  Then after you proof read it and edit it, go give a copy to the management team.  Just hand it to them saying "Hey, this is an incident report of the assault done to me by so and so. Please read it at your convenience."  Then walk away.  The ball is now back in their court.  Then make sure you give a copy to your store's union steward asking it to be faxed off to your union office.

They now must investigate this matter fully since you now put it in writing and made it into either an assault or harassment case.  At the very least you can say later on that you wish for this to be placed in your file for future record just in case this idiot continues to do it  again.  So pretty much you are putting this person in check.  I guarantee she won't mess with you again if you show your strength.

BTW, in your letter towards the ending paragraph, state things like "Feel free to contact me for further details if needed" and "I take this matter quite seriously" also "Please respond to this in a timely fashion".  Stuff like that always pushes your point hard at them.

As a dept head I just had to watch a video and a test on this same issue.

No, but got number to corporate in Houston 713 507 4878, I was sexually harassed by my store director, Derrick Occonnor. I quit but still called HR on him, the bastard!

We had a backroom manager, that used to throw pallets at people, and never got in trouble. kroger protects certain people.

pretty much everybody has a cell phone, with vidio record features.

anytime something going down bad, record it, and got to the cops, if kroger doesn't fall over otself to fix the problem.

 DO NOT let them play you around. there is no sense in people getting assaulted, just because  the assualter happens to be managers pet
