THAT SUCKS!!! Thankfully my senior day is the 3rd but it will still be BAD because of the 1st of the month (food stamps) & the 4th...I feel your pain!!

lucky for me we have like 12 within a hundred miles but it is still going to be insane so i am trying to find a new job first or hope i get off that day before 9pm for i can goto the ymca and soak my body in the hot tub
Senior day is always awful. Last time, we had a small bus come by from some old folk's home. It was absolutely horrifying.
If you have an afternoon shift or later, it's not as bad.
One of the veteran cashiers at my store has no idea how the discount or signup even works anymore since she has always gone out of her way to take that day off.
Holidays piss me off. Christmas is the only one they haven't ruined, but damned if they didn't try. I would be absolutely shocked if they didn't schedule me to close.
Having the 4th and senior day at the same time might not be that bad. It's only old people in the store before noon on regular days anyways and very few into the afternoon. Between all the people stocking up on party supplies, there probably won't be too many. And then, the store will be dead after 7:00 pm.

Some people will take off the whole week some just 3 days either first of week or end of week. It will be rough all week. Maybe I will be off on the 4th. That is a paid holiday for me.

Maybe in your division, but in the midsouth KMA our next senior day IS on the 4th of July. Ours are ALWAYS the 1st wed of the month.

In my division it IS on Wednesday. But not the next one. The next Wednesday is the day after tomorrow. And I am in the Atlanta Division. That's why I said in some cases the 26th. Also we do have seionor every Wednesday.
