Store Manager Expectaton
Permalink

Do all corporate offices outside of the Mid-South area expect 70+ hours out of each store manager every week?  First we are told we have to work one Sunday a month, now you basically have to work every Sunday to meet their expectations, next it was close on the Tuesday before Senior Day - which means you have to pop back up and be there early for Senior Day.  Trying to take a day off or a vacation is beyond ridiculous...can't take off during a holiday week, can't take a day during Senior Week, vacations have now been mandated so that you can't begin a vacation on Saturday (using that as your day off) and return on Monday (using Sunday as your day off).  What's next?  Will our vacations be mandated group vacations only and pre-arranged marriages?  A few, but some people, are not married/dating another employee and with this kind of scheduling it makes it difficult to even schedule a non-Kroger vacation or a day off to spending a waking moment with our own family.

Not near enough for the BS that you have to put up with and what is expected of you aka not have a life outside of Krogerland. Publix would be a much better option I'm sure.
