So apparently you can look at youre schedule online for Kroger employees and post hours available to work on greatpeople.me but I have yet to find it on that website. Please help asap. I am about to start back to college and need to change my available hours.
I don't think it's available everywhere yet. I think they're slowly changing over to it. Your best bet would be to talk to a supervisor/manager and they'll give you a paper availability form to fill out.
I was told that the more you put you are avalible the more hours you will get. I do not like that. I do like the idea of them doing the whole thing. But when I was told the more your avalible the more hours I think that is wrong. What are they trying to say? They own us? We don't have a life outside of Kroger? I been with the company 18 years and I don't think hours should be based on my avalibility. I do work weekends but only mornings on weekends. I want to keep it that way. I do not want to be working 2 or 3 pm on Satyrday or Sunday afternoon. They have school kids and other yound adults that cannot work during the week to work weekends. That's the fair way is to let younger ones work weekends.
I believe all they are saying is if you are available for 25 hours a week & im available 40 hours a week you would get 25 hours that week & i might get 35 hours that week. The only reason i got more hours is because i was available to work more hours than you.
