Why is it so difficult?

Just to get your birthday changed on the Express HR website? They have my birth month wrong and i said something like 2 weeks ago and HR was like "well, i just can't get on and change it, it's a complicated process but i'll see what i can do" and still, it hasn't been fixed. I really don't want to have to keep complaining about something so small but how much longer are they going to take?

Forever. They have had me under the wrong category for months. That's at least 20 cents an hour less...

complicated process? yea right.  all they need to do is get on the damn phone and make a call.  sure it may take 1/2 an hour calling some one up and literally getting them to change it but basically you store manager is just pure lazy and doesnt see your concern as being important to them to deal with

It wasn't even the manager, it was the HR lady, so should i say something to a manager instead?

well either can do it!  heck - you could do it yourself if you knew who to call.  i mean, do you really think it is that hard to change your b'day in ExpressHR?  I know that there are several fields that we can change on our own (emergency contact / education / willing to transfer) simply by going there and doing it.  The Kroger corporate HR team blocks a lot of those areas for obvious reason.  But it isnt like it takes some magic potion and a wave of a wand to change them!  There has to be a person a phone call away who can say "ok so what is the employee's name?"  then look it up on Express HR and then say "got it - whats the correct birthday?" and "BAZINGAA!  its changed!
